Enterprise Execution Maturity Case Study
Industry: Transport & Logistics
Client Context
Following the approval of a new five-year growth strategy, execution remained fragmented. Divisions delivered initiatives in silos, creating duplication, wasted funding, and limited visibility of progress toward enterprise goals.
What We Did
We led the design and implementation of an enterprise-level execution model to align delivery with strategic intent. This included: - Convening senior leaders to co-create and govern an integrated roadmap, identifying dependencies and sequencing across major initiatives - Establishing portfolios to reorganise governance, funding, and cross-functional delivery teams around key strategic priorities - Driving an organisation-wide ways-of-working program to bring greater flexibility to governance and delivery
Outcomes
Created a shared enterprise roadmap and portfolio governance structure that improved transparency, prioritisation, and collaboration across business units. Over time, resistance from functional leaders gave way to stronger collective ownership as the benefits of coordinated execution became evident: more disciplined investment, reduced duplication, and clearer accountability for outcomes.
