Client Context
Workforce shortages and major legislative reforms were placing significant pressure on attraction, retention, and service delivery. With a new ambitious strategy, the organisation needed to build a future-ready workforce to ensure sustainability and capability in a rapidly changing care environment.
What We Did
We led a multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver a Capability Framework and Workforce Strategy aligned to the organisation's long-term strategy. We partnered with internal leaders to interpret external trends, competitive pressures, and reform impacts, identifying key workforce risks and opportunities. We designed and validated a future-focused capability framework across all role categories, then facilitated discussions to co-design the workforce strategy and prioritised actions with leadership. The resulting Horizon One implementation plan focused on building workforce competency, strengthening cross-functional agility, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
Outcomes
Delivered a Workforce Strategy and Horizon One implementation roadmap, now embedded into the organisation's business planning cycle. Provided executives with a clear framework to prioritise workforce investments, strengthen alignment across divisions, and position the organisation to attract and retain the workforce of the future.
