Client Context

Following several leadership and governance transitions, the organisation lacked alignment between the Board and Executive Team on the future direction of the business. Strategic priorities were fragmented, with no clear five-year vision or unified plan to guide investment and decision-making.

What We Did

We designed and facilitated a strategic planning process to reconnect the Board and Executive Team around a shared vision. We conducted one-on-one interviews with both groups to surface perceptions of key risks, opportunities, and areas of divergence. These insights shaped an off-site where the group co-developed a five-year growth strategy and defined the strategic objectives and initiatives required to deliver it. Following the off-site, we worked closely with the Executive Team to translate the strategy into a clear, actionable business plan, including defining critical initiatives, ownership, and measures for the year ahead, and introducing tools and structures to help leaders cascade the plan across their teams.

Outcomes

The organisation emerged with a unified five-year vision, shared priorities, and a practical business plan anchored in measurable outcomes. Board and Executive alignment improved significantly, decision-making became more strategic, and leaders had a clear line of sight from high-level objectives through to team-level actions, strengthening both accountability and execution discipline.
